I feel cheated

Yogurtland - I feel cheated
Updated by user Feb 20, 2024

Yogurtland contacted me and provided 15 reward dollars. I decided to place another order.

This time I ordered the Bestie bundle which is two regular cups and then I ordered a regular cup separately. When we picked it up the order was incorrect as there was 1 regular and two minis. When I expressed that they were supposed to be regular cups I was told that the bundles are always mini. Even though the website where I ordered says regular.

They were also out of the yogurt I ordered and the substituted for a different flavor. Although when you order they ask for a number in case you need to be contacted regarding your oder. Anyhow, the employee tells me that these are minis until I show her the website where it clearly says regular. Aside from the fact that the family bundle is 4 minis with one topping each for 15, so why would I buy the bestie bundle of 2 minis with no toppings for 15 dollars?

That makes no sense that 2 cups minus toppings is the same price as 4 cups with toppings. She tells me there is a glitch, but I have ordered this before, and now I'm wondering how many other people have they gotten over on with this discounted bundle pricing that seems like a rip off if we are paying the same price for 2 and 4 cups of the same yogurt.

Anyhow they fixed it from the initial incident, but then to have issues upon return to fix the initial mishap is making me second guess returning. And I absolutely hate this for yogurtland and my family since they get lots of money from me and my family.

Original review Feb 19, 2024
I placed an order for the family bundle for my family this afternoon. I just picked up the order and returned home to have 4 cups half full of yogurt.

While I understand thr bundle is a deal, I do expect to get at least a full cup of yogurt. We frequent yogurtland at least twice per week and order for pick up often. This is the first time I have received half cups of yogurt.

I was amazed when I removed the top and had to take a picture as I could see the bottom of the cup. Help me understand this.

San Diego store

Yogurtlands San Diego, in Genesee plaza has had only 5-6 working machines for several months. Much of the time the flavors are not ones I like.

Ive asked in the store and have been told the machines are broken. That they would pass on the complaint, but didnt think anything would be done. Im sure this is a franchise, but your name is used.

If they cant offer what they should be offering, perhaps the franchise should be pulled. Thank you

User's recommendation: San diegans, don’t bother going to the Genesee Yogurtland. Most of their machines are down and have been for months. Complaints fall on deaf ears,

I did not get my points

I went and took my grandson and right before I got ready to pay she ask me for my phone number which I was already about to give it to her she act like she received it and told me it was $15.11. Thank goodness I've been asking for my receipt.

Because this is a reoccurring thing alot and it makes no sense. I send way to much money with this company to always have to go threw something.

$5 bonus card would not work

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Today I took my granddaughter to Manhattan Beach yogurt land to use my bonus $5 before it expires. The cashier tried to make it work but no luck.

This is not the first time this has happened to me.

Why do you give bonus cards to get a sale then it doesnt work? Thank you for your help.

Yesterday 4/16/23 I had a similar problem. I had received an email saying that I would get $3 off a $12 purchase that day, but at checkout the discount didn't appear.

Hi. I have been a loyal yogurt land customer for seven years.

I came to the yogurt land In Santa Monica and got ripped out. I paid 18 dollars for a regular bowl which in every other location would be between 6-7. How this is possible is outrageous.

Also they dont display the price anywhere until the end when you go to pay. Will not return to yogurt land anymore because of this experience

Unfair pricing

I am a long time customer. I stopped in San Clemente store and noticed that prices have doubled in two weeks.

I normally get 2 quarts for $18-$22. I paid $36 today which officially makes it the most expensive yogurt Ice cream in the world. I cant believe Corp allows the price gauging .

Several other customers said the same thing as I did. I will not be back

Problem I had was a e-gift card was not sent at scheduled time. This Problem could have been resolved in a simple minute if anyone and I mean anyone would have answered the phone or just email me back from yogurtland.

Only after two days of calls and finally contacting pissed customer I received a response within 30 minutes.

Yogurtland was very accommodating and cleared up problem in no time. Thank you pissed off customer.

Discount

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I bought 2 yogurts but didn't get the discount which was but 1 get 1 free. The person helping me said i had to tell her before she charged me.

I was under the impression that everyone who bought that day would get the offer. She did ask if i had a phone number with them, i gave it to her so she could of seen that i had that offer ready to use. I'm wondering if there's anything that can be done?

Like another discount or a refund for one of the yogurts i bought that day. Thank you.
